Artist Arnold G is gathering multi-talented performers to raise funds for the flood ravaged Philippines. Los Angeles performers will gather in Hollywood, October 19th, 2009 to sing and raise much needed funds for the victims of the devastating floods that took over 450 lives in the Philippines last month. In association with “Philippine Aid Society”, a 501(c)(3) non-profit, the artists will gather at Rage on Santa Monica Boulevard (West Hollywood) Monday evening for a fund-raiser event organized by Arnold G (of A&G records). Performers include: Arnold G, Lotonius Earl, Jezda, Kris Searle, Jael Gadsden, DeLon, Fawn, Asha Puthli, Stuart Guest and other special performances.
Donations of clothing and food will be accepted on location, as well as at: Manila Forwarder: 4323 Eagle Rock Blvd, Unit 313, Los Angeles, CA 90041 telephone: (323) 478-1599. Cash donations are being encouraged and will be managed directly Tim Troutman, Executive Director of the Philippine Aid Society, with offices in the United States (North Carolina) and also in the Philippines (Kamuning, Quezon City). The goal is to raise awareness and funds to help those in dire need with clothing, food, and other basic necessities. The event host is Rana Davis, popular long time hostess and emcee in Southern California.
