Philippine Aid Society provides a variety of charitable services in the Philippines focused on eliminating poverty. Our four-fold plan of action includes feeding, caring for, educating, and employing the needy. Young men and women from poor households have the opportunity to pursue higher education and street children have a brighter future through our scholarship programs. Our livelihood programs are designed to take the poor and destitute and give them job skills and the means for self production so they can provide for themselves and for their families. Finally, we respond to natural disasters and immediate needs e.g. medical or nutritional.
Our Mission Statement:
“To provide critical goods and services to Filipinos in desperate need and where possible equip them with the means of self sustenance, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.”
Our Core Values:
- We are Christian
- Moral issues are important to us
- Stewardship & accountability are essential
Christian - Our work is carried out in obedience to the gospel of Jesus Christ and in accordance with His Church.
Moral Issues - Our work is focused primarily on service but to whatever extent we engage in advocacy or education of any kind, the Christian teachings on morality must not be compromised.
Stewardship - We believe in keeping financial information transparent and being fiscally responsible as unto the Lord.

Is this the charity that works with people who live in the dumps?
Caroline, that is one of the areas we intend to expand to as soon as possible. We do work in coordination with the outreach ministry at the University of the Assumption and they have a livelihood program that reaches out to “squatters” who live and work at the dump sites.
First and foremost, I’d like to say thank you on behalf of all the Filipinos that you’ve helped. I know I’m only one person, but the aid you given to all these people has been an amazing task. I would like to ask whether this organization is international or domestic group.
Hi Daryll thanks for stopping by and for your kind words. Our fund-raising office is located in Charlotte, NC and our program office is based in Quezon City. We are a registered charity in both the US and the Philippines.
Are you raising or allocating funds to help the victims of the recent coastal village fire tragedy? If so can you give me an idea of what your aid plan is?
Peter, I am unaware of the coastal village fire tragedy. Do you have some information you can point me to? Where did it happen?
Wow. You people have great goals and though I am quite new to this site, I think you’ve already helped a lot. Thank you for your all-out support to our country and for helping others to stand up for their own and start acting out for a better tomorrow. I hope that you’d be able to help more people in need and as a Filipino, I salute all of you guys. God bless you all : ]
Thanks Mark!
I’m surfing the net looking for a charity institution to be my entry on some form to fill-up and i found your website. I’m deeply moved with your Mission Statement and read the name of our Lord Jesus Christ in the end of your statement. I thought you’re the charity of my choice. Thank you very much for helping my fellow Filipinos. God Bless!!
Bing, we’re honored to be chosen as your charity of choice. Thank you and God bless you as well.
Nice to know there are people out there who really engaged in helping the unfortunate Filipinos. May God sustain you with good health, power and abundant resources to continue your Christian Mission in our country. God bless.
God bless you for what you do! Do your efforts expand to Mindano? Gensan City holds a special place in my heart. Ive been twice and plan to go back in the spring. I continue to do what i can there to help with a few families, but as you know there is an overwhelming need there and many other places in the Phils. Id be very interested in helping your efforts and hope to talk with you more, Sincerely, Kelly K
